The Colosseum free PvP update (1.08) released on 7th December 2022. However, pinpointing a release date window for an Elden Ring paid DLC might just be as difficult as taking down Malenia using a Dance Pad as a controller...Judging by past SoulsBorne titles, we know that FromSoftware generally takes less than one year to produce a big piece of DLC content, often seen as full expansions, for their titles; except for Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.if(typeof ez_ad_units!='undefined'){ez_ad_units.push([[336,280],'ginx_tv-large-mobile-banner-1','ezslot_5',145,'0','0'])};__ez_fad_position('div-gpt-ad-ginx_tv-large-mobile-banner-1-0');Game TitleRelease DateFirst DLC ReleaseTime Before DLCDemon's Soul Remake12th Nov 2020N/AN/ADark Souls22nd Sept 201124th Aug 201211 MonthsDark Souls 211th March 201422nd July 20143 Months 1 weekDark Souls 324th March 201621st Oct 20167 MonthsBloodborne24th March 201522nd Nov 20158 MonthsSekiro21st March 201929th Oct 202019 MonthsElden Ring releases on 25th February 2022, so going by some historical data on FromSoftware titles, we expect the game's first DLC to release before 25th February 2023. However, there's no official word on the possible expansion at the time of writing. We will update you as soon as an Elden Ring DLC/Expansion is officially announced and what the release date might be.if(typeof ez_ad_units!='undefined'){ez_ad_units.push([[336,280],'ginx_tv-large-mobile-banner-2','ezslot_7',146,'0','0'])};__ez_fad_position('div-gpt-ad-ginx_tv-large-mobile-banner-2-0');Elden Ring Barbarians of the Badlands LeakedCould Tarnished venture past the Lands Between in Elden Ring's first DLC (Picture: FromSoftware)Some leaks have suggested that Elden Ring's first DLC will be called Barbarians of the Badlands. As a full-scale expansion, Barbarians of the Badlands is reportedly set outside the scope of the Lands Between. If you paid close attention to the game's lore, you would know that the Badlands is where Tarnished got exiled after Godfrey lost his grace. The Tarnished, including Godfrey, perished in the Badlands. During the Elden Ring prologue, Tarnished returned to the Lands Between. If the first Elden Ring DLC is, in fact, Barbarians of the Badlands, it might take place in the past. if(typeof ez_ad_units!='undefined'){ez_ad_units.push([[580,400],'ginx_tv-leader-2','ezslot_9',147,'0','0'])};__ez_fad_position('div-gpt-ad-ginx_tv-leader-2-0');Keep in mind that the little leaked information about Barbarians of the Badlands should be taken with a large helping of salt until FromSoftware or Bandai Namco reveals official info.At this point, all Elden Ring DLC/Expansion content is pure speculation. Some believe it could be focused on Melania's brother, Miquella, described as \"the most fearsome Empyrean of all\".if(typeof ez_ad_units!='undefined'){ez_ad_units.push([[300,250],'ginx_tv-leader-3','ezslot_11',148,'0','0'])};__ez_fad_position('div-gpt-ad-ginx_tv-leader-3-0');Alternatively, there's speculation that Elden Ring's first DLC could be focused on PvP, set in that massive Colosseum in the Caelid area. Will Elden Ring Have Multiple DLCsWe can't help but wonder which new terrors will be unleashed in the upcoming Elden Ring DLC. (Picture: FromSoftware)While there is a chance developer FromSoftware could release more than one Elden Ring DLC, no information about how many DLCs the game will have is currently available.Except for the Demon's Soul Remake, every other Soulsborne title has received at least one big DLC. For reference, let's look at FromSoftware's SoulsBorne titles and how many DLCs they've received.
Sony announced games OlliOlli World (PS4 and PS5), Mafia: Definitive Edition (PS4), Evil Dead: The Game (PS4 and PS5), and Destiny 2: Beyond Light (PS4 and PS5) as part of the PlayStation Plus offerings for subscribers, available at no cost starting February 7, 2023.
Within the past day, it was noticed that a handful of behind-the-scenes tweaks were made to the Steam version of Elden Ring. These changes were spotted via SteamDB, which is a site that tracks games that are available through Valve's PC marketplace. And while it's not yet known what these updates tied to the game might entail, the fact that FromSoftware seems to be making changes to the title whatsoever indicates that the studio could be preparing for a big reveal.
Does this mean that the much-anticipated big Elden Ring add-on that we're all waiting for could be coming soon Still seems unlikely, but we will get something. And it will most likely be something related to online-play, as the previous updates have also foreshadowed online-related content updates.
This page is dedicated to all streams, sneak peeks, leaks, and videos that have been officially released by Coffee Stain Studios about upcoming updates. Content will be removed and added to this page as we see things added into the game and shown in leaks.
The game company has revealed a new '2023 content road map' - featuring a total of three updates. Players can expect all sorts of content including a Juke Box, Photo Mode, new challenge modes, Sonic's Birthday, an open zone challenge, new Koco, and new playable characters & new story content.
Why are they treating this like it's an online game with constant dlc and updates This is a single player adventure game so its really weird to have an update schedule like this. This dlc should have been here at launch because I don't really see anyone coming back to this game for each update. Maybe if they released all this as a dlc pack down the line it may make more sense I don't know I should probably just appreciate we're getting more stuff added to the game.
Prior to the game's release, it's probably safe to assume that Hidetaka Miyazaki and his team at FromSoftware had set some rather lofty ambitions regarding Elden Ring's success. Almost a year later, the game may well have surpassed all of them, after taking the video game world by storm when it was released in February and never looking back. Elden Ring may not be finished there either, and 2023 could see the game continue to dominate headlines as well as players' time.
Despite a lack of solid confirmation from FromSoftware, the general consensus is that Elden Ring DLC is inevitable. At the recent Game Awards 2022, Hidetaka Miyazaki himself confirmed that there is more he and his team wants to do with the game. If DLC is indeed incoming, based on previous FromSoftware titles, it would make perfect sense for it to arrive in 2023. In fact, based on the Dark Souls trilogy and Bloodborne, the average time between the game's release and DLC release is actually a little over seven months, meaning Elden Ring's DLC is considerably overdue at this point. Given the fact that the size and scope of Elden Ring is significantly larger than previous FromSoftware titles, it should come as no surprise that any potential DLC is taking a little longer than fans of the Japanese developer are used to. 781b155fdc
